The beautiful late summer sunshine and a lull in the Covid 19 lock down rules drew a large and happy band of Alfa owners to Stonor Park in Henley-on-Thames on Saturday 19 September. The Giulietta Register joined the AROC gathering and were given a pitch close to the historic house, home to the Stonor family for over 850 years. Stonor Park is one of the oldest family homes still lived in today. It was a fine setting for a wonderful turnout of Register members Giuliettas and Giulias.

It was exceptionally hot in Croatia in June. Our squad of Giulietta drivers endured with little complaint. Enjoying the journey and the locals along the way, we all returned home triumphant and renewed.

The Giulietta Register AGM was held at the Beckford Inn near Tewkesbury on Sunday 28 April. The Chairman, Richard Wigley and the serving Committee members were all re-elected. Duncan Ferns was also elected to the Committee as UK Events Organiser. John Whitehead was presented with the Elsie Smith Trophy for his hugely informative and useful technical articles, and Guy Sweeten received the Chairman’s Award for his successful editing of the Giuliettaletta. Fourteen Giuliettas were on show at the historic Brooklands venue on Saturday 4 May. A great range of models including two beautiful 750 Sprints brought by Kevin Rawson, Don Jordan’s recently restored 750 Spider, and Hugo Moss’s exquisite Giulia SS. REgister Stalwart Paul Gregory left his Sprint at home to bring his spectacular 8C 2300, doing demonstration runs on the Mercedes Benz test track alongside the Brooklands Museum, real vintage motor car looks and sound amongst all the circling moderns.
